句動詞がTOEICで狙われる理由

句動詞（phrasal verb）とは、動詞に副詞や前置詞が組み合わさってひとつの意味を持つ表現です。たとえば carry out（実行する）や look into（調査する）のように、個々の単語の意味から全体の意味を推測しにくいため、語彙問題として頻繁に出題されます。
